Blog Hop!

Hi all! Time for another TCP blog hop - and this time the Cat Pack is showing off some of our own favorite creations (I had tons of fun making this baby card with the "And Baby Makes" set) as well as some made by TCP fans! I really like the card by Noelle - the colors just blew me away, and the whole design just screams "Summer" to me :) Thanks for sharing your creation with us, Noelle!

You might be joining me from Sony's blog if you're following along for the hop - if so, your next stop will be Amy's blog for more amazing TCP-ness :) Have fun!

New Release Blog Hop!

Here we go....it's finally release day! Today's the day that you can finally order your new TCP stamps - the ones we've been showing you samples of all week :) To celebrate, we're having a blog hop - and giving you the chance to see even more samples! And don't forget to check out TCP's brand new dies (buttons, flower buttons and waves) and felt, too!!
This TCP Tuesday we're celebrating our new forum on Splitcoast Stampers by mixing it up with the Dirty Dozen on their Dare To Get Dirty Challenge. The Hostess with the Mostess is our very own Dirty Dozen Alum, Leigh O'Brien. Their sketch challenge is our sketch challenge this week. Check out their challenge on the Dirty Dozen Forum on Splitcoast Stampers and see what the Dirty Dozen has done with this sketch.
Don't know about the Dirty Dozen? They are the elite of the elite. And you can get access to all of their design challenges, creations, galleries, templates and instructions. Just click here.

If you've been following the hop from the start, you'll be joining me from Sony's blog - isn't her work beautiful? She's our newest Cat Pack member :) I used the brand new "And Baby Makes..." set from TCP and also attached the buttons using TCP's Divine Twine - I love that stuff!! Alrighty, it's time for you to move on to your next stop - Amy's blog! Enjoy!

TCP Tuesday - a Surprise Baby Boy Blog Hop!

Surprise! This week the TCP Cat Pack decided to surprise our very own Jen del Muro with a baby boy blog hop :) Jen had a baby boy, Nicolas, last week - and so it's only fitting that we welcome Nicolas with some very special TCP cards as part of our color challenge (matching little Nicolas' bedding) for this TCP Tuesday!

The hop started over at Joanne's blog, and you should be joining me from Ana's blog. For my card, I was happy to use one of my all-time favorite TCP images: "Sweet Peas" - it's perfect for baby cards!

Thanks for stopping by for our very special TCP Tuesday hop - your next stop is Amy's blog. Have fun! And congratulations once again to Jen and her family :)

TCP Tuesday - Inspiration Challenge

Hi all! It's my turn to host TCP Tuesday, and this week I have an Inspiration Challenge for you. The challenge is to make a card (or any other project!) using the photo on the left as your inspiration. Aren't those glasses pretty? I found them at the Museum of Modern Arts website. I hope you can play along! Here are the details...

1. Add a link to your creation in the comments for this post. You can post up until midnight this coming Saturday, May 2nd.
2. If you're posting to the gallery at Splitcoast Stampers, use the keyword TCPTUES56 so that we can find your piece!
3. TCP stamps are not required, but are of course encouraged :)
4. All of the cards will be featured in Alma's "Holey Moley Monday!" slideshow!
5. Each month, Alma will select the "Swanky Stamper" for that month. The Swanky Stamper will receive $25 in Cat Cash to spend on the TCP site, and the winning creation will be featured on the TCP site for the following month :)

For my card I used the design of the glass as inspiration. I used white for the top of my card, and then pink and green for the rest. I also did some paper piecing for the flowerpot and the heart. The stamp I used is one of my favorite TCP images; it's called "Budding Baby", and the sentiment is "Welcome Little One" :) So...what are you waiting for?? Have fun! I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
ETA: the border punch I used is Fiskars' "Effervescence" Border Punch :)

Swell News :)

This is a card I made for this week's "Who's That Girl?" challenge for My Favorite Things. I used the featured stamp set, and one of my favorite patterned paper stacks from Die Cuts with a View. I believe it's called "Nana's Nursery" :)
How was your weekend? We got all our holiday decorations taken down and the house got a well-needed clean! It looks so nice now - at least for today, right?
We still have one more day off; school starts on Tuesday. Tomorrow Iain is taking the kids snow tubing, and I'm going down to Denver to get a facial - I have a gift certificate to use up from our anniversary. Sounds like a nice day to me!!
