Kilauea
This was one of our favorite parts of the trip. We drove to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and learned that in March of this year there had been an explosion at the Halema'uma'u Crater. This was the first explosion at that particular location since 1982 and debris was scattered over a 75-acre area!
