Trees!
Hi! today's cards are made with a new set of stamps coming soon from Queen Kat Designs. What a versatile set! For the card on the left I stamped the tree on the same Chatterbox patterned paper as I used for the background, cut it out and attached it to the image stamped on white cardstock - voila! The card on the right is also made with paper from Chatterbox and the same technique as above. For the grass I cut a strip of paper and cut slits to add some texture.

Okay, now I feel stupid... I thought to myself "How the heck did she color in that tree identical to the background paper?" Then I read you stamped the paper too... doh!!! What a great idea; something I had never thought to do.

Both these cards are great, but in particular I ADORE the brown and green one. Great job with the matchy grass. Looks adorable!

As always, Toni, You are awesome! I love these cards. I too, am partial to the green and brown one. Caught my eye right away. Love the idea of stamping the image onto the same pp. I, like Maureen, would never have thought to do that.
Those QCD stamps just rock, and so do these cards! I think this tree is marvelous, and your paper piecing is just so perfect with it!

Great cards! Love the green and brown but the orange and brown quickly caught my eye.
