Meet Aspen and Bailey
Here are our new additions! They are 10 weeks old and we decided to get them this weekend from the Cat Care Society in Denver (see the post below about Pickle). The shelter is a cage-free facility just for cats, and it's the best-run (and cleanest!) shelter I've ever been to. The staff and volunteers over there are doing an awesome job taking care of the cats.
It's been a while since we had cats this little running around, and you can imagine what Tasha things of them: something along the lines of "Yahoo! New playmates!" :)
Aspen (on the right) is named after the patches of yellow/gold aspen trees that we've seen in the last few weeks dotted among the green trees here in the mountains. Bailey is a town near here which sounded like a cute cat name and still went along with the mountain theme.
Sally, our other cat, is doing pretty well with them; they have all checked each other out and everyone still has their fur intact, so that's a good sign :)

OHHHHHH!!!!! HOW SWEET! I love those new babies! My DD's name is Bailey. I will have to share with her! Have fun! Janet
Yay for you for rescuing these babies. Kittens are so fun!
Lovely kitties (cutie holding them too!)!! I had a cat like the one on the right, is that a tortoise shell? Thanks for posting them for us to see.
awwwwwwwww, they are soooooooo cute!
I've been thinking about Pickles and wondering how you're all doing. I'm so glad you've opened your heart and home to two new kittens and we'll just trust that Pickles is with a family too smitten to want to part with him.
How sweet are they! I just love the names you chose! Very unique. Seems like you will have a houseful. Still keeping Pickles in my prayers.
Ohhhhhhhhh - aren't they cute!
They are SOOOOO cute!! Love Nattie's glasses too!!
they are so cute. I love both of them. in face I love all cats. :)
Well, as a new kitten owner too (our third), I can honestly say I love watching her antics... the other two cats are like "what is WRONG with this thing?" as they stay away from her wild kitten-free-for-all. Have fun with your new family members!!! (can't wait to see more pics)
