Home again...
CHA was so much fun! I arrived Saturday morning; we were a little late since our plane had to be de-iced before leaving Denver (Iain and the kids came home to 6+" of snow), headed straight to the Anaheim Convention Center, got my badge at the registration desk and went straight in for my "Book It!" class through Fancy Pants Designs. We made an adorable coaster book using their new line of Mulberry Road papers.
Checked in at the hotel before going out to meet the team of The Cat's Pajamas for dinner! I finally met Alma :) and also met Tracy and Janis who were lots of fun! Also there were Alma's honey, Anthony, and Tracy's friend Shauna. I was thrilled to finally meet everybody.
Sunday was an early start...a 7am class with Bazzill Basics. We made 5 different cards/tags using some of their new papers (Cardstock with an Edge). After we got done there it was finally time to check out the booths inside! I spent several hours wandering around and my favorite new lines were from Crate Paper, Prima, and Maya Road. Love their stuff!
My last class was with Canvas Concepts and the teacher was Suzy West, author of books such as Scrapbooking on the Wall which I just love..... Another cool thing about this class is that I got to meet Rocio, one of my online friends from my circle journal group, Seasoned CJ Survivors! We are about to start our third circle together :)
Sunday night I relaxed in the hotel room and watched "Casino Royale". I have to say, Daniel Craig made a pretty good James Bond, especially considering that Pierce Brosnan is such a hard act to follow! Came back home Monday evening to huge hugs at the airport. That was the best!!
Photos to follow later...
